Nursing Assistant or Home Care Attendant is also referred to as an Assistant Nurse who offers the necessary care to patients, but only under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a doctor. They assist in making sure that patients in a home environment feel comfortable, hygienic, and that their basic health is monitored.
Home Nursing Assistance & Daily Care Support
- Basic patient care (bathing, grooming, and feeding).
- Checking of temperature, pulse, blood pressure.
- Helping in movements and practices.
- Medication reminders (non-IV)
- Up keeping hygiene and infection prevention.
- Giving emotional support and companionship.
- Reporting changes in health to supervising nurse/doctor.

- Personal cleaning, such as bath and dress change and grooming.
